We have several extremely relevant groups, from both corn and sugarcane ethanol, as well as people from outside the sector. We left with highly valuable accumulated expertise that will undoubtedly be fundamental to further boost our results.

We need to bring people together, all the plants and all the technologies, so that collectively we can achieve the best performance and increase capacity. By bringing people into BFA, we realize that everyone will be able to look in the same direction and work together.

People are the ones who make things happen and drive change. And the more trained they are, and the better they understand the business, the better. BFA helps develop people and allows them to understand how their specific area of expertise fits into the bigger picture.

If we don't exchange business and technical experiences, we hinder or significantly slow down growth. Sharing with peers the most cutting-edge and innovative practices that are yielding results is what drives me.

The most interesting part of the event is seeing different professionals and different plants facing similar problems. However, each location usually has a different approach to solving them. This greatly broadens the range of opportunities for us to solve problems in the best possible way.

No one gets very far alone. All knowledge sharing brings a series of feedback and thought-provoking insights that make you think and reassess your path. Sharing is always an experience that will propel the sector further and correct its course.

It is incredibly important to exchange knowledge between facilities. Integrating corn with the sugarcane industry, being able to connect these aspects, and finding new improvement opportunities to adapt to your process... This exchange is highly valuable.

These technical events, which are rare... we have many events that are sometimes a bit more commercial, but a technical event like this is highly interesting. It allows for a lot of interaction with professionals from other sectors and lets us take valuable learnings back to our reality at the plants.

BFA is an event for which I have great admiration, because its true goal is to bring knowledge to those who are thinking about building a corn ethanol plant, as well as to those who already have a plant and want to improve its performance.
